Each year, we organise the Illawarra Folk Festival, which takes place in January, and the delightful Folk by the Sea event every September. Nestled in the beautiful Illawarra region of NSW, located 100 km south of the vibrant city of Sydney, we proudly host exceptional folk performances throughout the year, showcasing local talents and acclaimed international artists.

Check out our regular open mic, The Railway Sessions, at Thirroul Railway Institute Hall, on the third Wednesday of each month.

Our community consists of dedicated music lovers, local musicians, passionate dancers, talented poets, and captivating storytellers who all appreciate and celebrate the richness of culture.
